ALL OF THIS FOR $24.70!!

All of this for only $24.70 from Tom Thumb, WalMart and Target, with $87.78 in groceries for $8.82 at Tom Thumb (87 % savings!!) , $24.40 in groceries for $4.04 at Target (84% savings) and LOTS of produce and snow crab price matching at Walmart for $11.84!!

TOM THUMB and RANDALLS have been having AWESOME store grand re-openings over the past few months with AMAZING coupon booklets given away! Each booklet contains 4 coupons for $2/off meat or seafood!!!! I went today and grabbed 30 coupon booklets!! That's $240 in free meat! Look out in your area!! In Dallas they have been re-opening all of the older stores over the past few months. I only used 6 of my 120 $2/1 coupons this week, but I will hold tight to them until the next big meat sale (for example, I have seen London Broil for $1.99/lb., etc.) and then really stock my freezer. Also, I got free eggs and bananas and $1 off organic produce from my booklet!

Also, with my $2/off coupons in hand, I got some fantastic deals from the "clearance" meat section, including great deals on frozen sea scallops, t-bone steak and Paula Dean pork chops (making most of this meat absolutely FREE)! I also went to the butcher and asked for $2 portions of meat and seafood to get it for FREE after coupon, including some FREE Mahi-Mahi!

I also scored .69 cent triscuits and wheat thins using $1.00/1 internet coupons. Tom Thumb was also distributing $1/1 Eating Right, Safeway Selects or O Organics products, so I got 3 FREE packages of whole wheat pre-cooked pasta (regularly $3.99 each), FREE spray salad dressing and .99 cent 2 lb. carrots!

I LOVE Walmart Price Matching!!! I go to the hispanic grocery store district (one intersection with 4 hispanic grocery stores with rock-bottom prices) and pick up their ads, then take them to Walmart and price-match (they will match ANY competitor's published price!) like I am a commodities trader.... On produce and meat, the prices can't be beat!! Some ads that I recommend are the El Rancho, Mi Super, and Fiesta. This week I found .25/lb. tomatoes, 12/1 limes, .25/lb. onions, .78/lb. garlic, .88/lb. squash, .88/lb. green beans and $2.99/lb. snow crab from my ads and Walmart met these prices without hesitation! You can price-match at ANY register, and it's super easy!!

I also snagged 5 boxes of Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs, 4 packages of Kraft 2% cheese and 2 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce for only $4.04 at Target using Kraft and Target coupons (www.afullcup.com has a great generator)!

The Cheapskate Club

Welcome to my cheapskate club. We had our monthly meeting today and distributed the Hispanic grocery store ads for Wal-Mart price matching. We also elected a treasurer and decided to pool 25 cents per person for a monthly prize for the best saver.

We met at Friday's to enjoy the $5 lunch specials. As each person told the waiter that they absolutely were not spending over $5 for lunch (no upgrading to sweet potato fries for 99 cents, no burgers) and proudly telling him how cheap we were, I halfway wanted to kill myself. Luckily we survived and had a great time!

Only 6 months until my 3.1 Phillip Lim $895 Coat Makes it's TX Winter Debut

I am a HUGE fan of the upscale clothing line 3.1 Phillip Lim. The handful of times I have shopped at Barney's I have been uber jealous of 3.1 Phillip Lim owners. Now I am a member of the chosen!

I found this rockin' coat at Nordstrom Rack! Originally $895, I bought it for $73.99! Nordstrom Rack had all their couture clearance items for 75% the sale price--leaving all items, including lots of Armani Couture, 90%-95% off!

Only 6 more months until the freezing Texas Winter...
